TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Florida State men's basketball is sitting nicely at the top of the ACC. The Seminoles are 5-1 in the ACC and 15-2 overall.

Their next game is against in-state foe Miami, which will likely be a dog fight. However, players explained they plan on treating this game just like the others. "We're going to go out there and play as hard as we can, and go home with a win," said Anthony Polite, a redshirt-sophomore guard.

Malik Osborne added, "We treat it like any other game, it's all about focusing on what we do, focusing on what we need to do to be successful in the game and just going from there. Whether it's a rivalry or not, it's just all about focusing on the next game with the same mindset."

For head coach Leonard Hamilton, while Miami is an in-state rival, the game is more about pride. "There's history in the rivalry, but it's really another ACC game that means an awful lot to us. Now, there's a rivalry aspect for the fans, but it's a real important game for us, and we will treat it as such. We try hard not to allow ourselves to get up on one game more than another."

Tip-off for Saturday's game in Coral Gables is set for 1:00 EST.
