PANAMA CITY, Fl. (WTXL) - Former Florida State head baseball coach Mike Martin visited Florida State's campus in Panama City on Thursday. The coach's career ended in Omaha this season, where his team was one of the final four teams in to the College World Series. They played lights out baseball to make it there, and that's a memory he won't forget.

"The last three weeks of the sudden, all of a sudden, I'll never forget it, I said holy smokes, it's happening," he remembered. "In fact, it really, it makes me emotional, because I love Florida State and I love the game of baseball. To see our guys have the success they deserve -- they busted their fannies!"

Eleven said he won't be too far away this upcoming season, after all, his son is now the head coach and he will of course have an opinion.
