OMAHA (WTXL) — Mike Martin's final season with Florida State comes to a close after the Seminole's loss to Texas Tech in an elimination game in the College World Series.
Texas Tech, ranked #8 in the nation, defeated FSU 4-1, to eliminate the Seminoles from the College World Series.
It’s the end of an era at Florida State. What a career. Tough loss, but for a team that didn’t even know if they’d be in the tournament a month ago, it’s a season you should remember as such. They sent Mike Martin out in Omaha. Not when they wanted, but what a year nonetheless.
