TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — The first round of the ACC tournament kicks off for second-ranked Florida State soccer on Tuesday and they'll start their quest for a conference title against 14th ranked Notre Dame.
The Seminoles' defense is on point this fall. They've allowed just four total goals this season.
Florida State beat the Irish back in September in a 5-0 shutout win.
Head coach Mark Krikorian knows Notre Dame is a different team now, but so is Florida State. Their leadership as a driving factor to their success.
"The kids are really committed to working hard as a defensive unit," said Krikorian. "And I think probably the thing I'm more happy with than the fact we've given up four goals is we haven't given up a lot of chances."
That game against Notre Dame is Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. and can be seen on the ACC Network.
