TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Florida State Volleyball conducted their second Gold and Garnet scrimmage Saturday afternoon for fans. The Seminoles' regular season begins next week in Chapel Hill, N.C.

First, Head Coach Chris Poole says the team has been trying to get the offense a bit smoother before their matches in North Carolina next weekend.

"I felt there were certain things we did that worked really well, some things that we did, we still need work," explained Coach Poole. "But at the same time, we know we still have a whole week left before we play again. So, that was the main point of trying to play each of the last two weekends."

Coach Poole noted they wanted to work mostly on defense the first week, and then the offense this past week. Now, the team is hoping to combine the offense and defense and get everything smoothed out over this upcoming week.

The Seminoles face Wisconsin on Friday, Aug. 30 for their first match of the 2019 season.
