TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Florida State football held it's annual media day Sunday. Head Coach Willie Taggart started things off for the day.

Coach Taggart said that Saturday's scrimmage went well. " Guys were flying around, we stayed pretty healhy. We heard some pads hitting and guys getting after it," said Coach Taggart. "I thought it was a good scrimmage on both sides of the ball. We did some really good things and we did some things we have to be better at, both offensively and defensively. Overall, I thought it was a good scrimmage."

The very next question for the head coach was about when the media and fans would have an answer on who the starting quarterback will be. Coach Taggart said before the Boise game of course.

"I don't necessarily have a timetable when we're going to name a starting quarterback. When we feel like it's right and best, we'll do it. I promise you I'm going to announce it, and I promise you it's going to be before the Boise game."

The Seminoles have less than two weeks until that matchup with Boise. The game will be played in Jacksonville.
