OMAHA, Neb. (WTXL) — The Florida State baseball team finds themselves in a must win situation Wednesday night in Omaha at the College World Series.
Florida State has to win Wednesday night if they want to keep their dreams of a national title alive.
In order to come out with a win, the FSU baseball team has to start hitting the ball better. Florida State has combined for one run in two games here in Omaha after scoring 46 in five games in Regionals and Super Regionals.
That's a big difference, they faced good pitching before, they saw good pitching against Arkansas and Michigan, now they have to figure it out Wednesday night or the Seminoles are going home.
"I think our approach is the same. He did a great job of keeping us off balance, so hats off to him," said JC Flowers, FSU junior outfielder/pitcher. "Backs have been against the wall all season, so it's nothing new."
"I think we just have to keep pushing and I don't think something is missing, I think we need to keep battling and hope it turns around for us," said Mike Salvatore, FSU senior infielder.
Anything can happen Wednesday night, hopefully in Florida State's favor.
