(WTXL) — Flipping his commitment from Louisville, four-star quarterback Chubba Purdy has signed with Florida State.
The Gilbert, Arizona native made the announcement on the first day of the early signing period. He Purdy is the second QB signee under new head coach Mike Norvell alongside Valdosta's Tate Rodemaker.

Coming in at 6'2 and 210 pounds, Purdy rushed for over 1,000 yards and threw for more than 3,000 yards in his senior season. Purdy also had 33 touchdowns with seven interceptions during his senior season at Perry High School.
According to 247Sports, Florida State's 2020 recruiting class ranks No. 22 in the nation.
