TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — For the first time, this season the Florida State football team is entering a game week coming off a win but that doesn't mean Saturday's showdown in South Bend is going to be any easier for Florida State.
Notre Dame is the fifth-ranked team in the country. On Wednesday, Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell said he wasn't too happy with his football team's performance.
Norvell admitted it's a little frustrating seeing the struggles as we enter week four of the season. He's still seeking consistency and still wanting this team to understand that this year nothing is guaranteed.
"We want to be consistent, we have to have consistent action, consistent growth throughout the organization," said Norvell. "It's coaches, it's players, everyone involved, we're all in this together. We have to continue to a better job in all aspects. There's bright moments, there's been players with unbelievable practices today, but as a whole, you never know who it's going to come down to."
Saturday's match-up kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
