TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Less than 24 hours after the end of a fantastic postseason, the Seminole baseball team is back in Tallahassee.
The bus pulled up outside Dick Howser Stadium and the crowd was so loud, excited to greet the team home.
Even Florida State University President John Thrasher was there to welcome back the Noles after an awesome run in Omaha.
Fans were there as early as 2:00 p.m. and continued filling in over the next couple of hours. Dozens of people showed up from students, alumni, and supporters of FSU.
Many telling us they're lifelong fans and watching the team make it this far in the season was unforgettable.
"Watching the Florida State Seminoles all my life. I'm here. I got here at 2:30 today to show my support," said Bill Bek, life-long FSU fan. "Tell 'em, hey, you know -- we here. We're behind you. And go 'Noles, you know? Win, lose -- we're all here. We love you guys. And thanks for a great job what y'all done for us."
When the team got off the bus there were all smiles to have such a warm greeting from their beloved fans.
