TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Saturday afternoon brought out hundreds of Florida State baseball fans, as coaches and players signed autographs and chatted with fans as part of Fan Day.
Players and coaches signed hats, posters, and baseballs for fans young and old.
One father-daughter duo was out for Fan Day. Nathan Frymire has been to Fan Day before, but Saturday was a little different. This time, he brought his daughter, Adalean.
Frymire explained Adalean's mother is a Florida Gator fan. "We wanted to have this experience together. She's five now and we wanted to come out and give her an opportunity to meet the players and have a great time as a Seminole."
Frymire said his daughter will definitely be a Seminole fan when she grows up. He said the Fan Day experience is not just neat for him, but also for his daughter, and everyone else. "Everybody gets to come in, interact with the players, coaches, and all of the fans get to interact too. You meet people from all over the world, coming here to have this experience. It's a great time."
The Seminole baseball squad starts the season at home on Feb. 14 against Niagara.
