Former FSU defensive back Isaiah Bolden announces JSU transfer

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida State defensive back Isaiah Bolden announced he's transferring to Jackson State Tuesday morning on social media.

Bolden entered the transfer portal on September 15.

In a video posted to Twitter, Bolden announced his departure from FSU:

"2020 has been one crazy year. I never saw myself wanting to leave Florida State. I want to say I had a great three years in Tallahassee and made friendships that will last forever.
I want to say that I appreciate everyone that has helped me along the way, from injuries and some other obstacles.
And to my former teammates, it kills me not to be out there with you guys. I wish you all success.
And to my former coaches, I appreciate the opportunities you gave me and the lessons you taught me.
And now, I have my decision to transfer to..."
