TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Florida A&M University has announced that they are suspending all athletic activities effective immediately.
Our number one concern is the health and safety of our student-athletes and campus community. The times are certainly unprecedent and we are moving to ensure the we keep our Student-Athlete and staffs best interest in mind. We are following national trends and protocols to suspend all activity. All though we are greatly disappointed in the suspension, this is the responsible choice and we will not compromise the health and safety of our student-athletes and campus community. We will continue to monitor and follow University, MEAC, and NCAA protocol.
