TALLAHASSEE, Fl. — Due to expected inclement weather throughout the afternoon and evening, Florida A&M University's baseball game at top-ranked Florida has been postponed. A makeup date has not been confirmed at this time.
The Rattlers and Gators have met 21 times, with Florida holding a 21-1 all-time series lead, with FAMU's lone win coming in a 4-3 victory in 2014.
The two teams are still scheduled to meet on March 4 at Alfred A. McKethan Stadium at Perry Field and will be streamed on the SEC Network+.
Florida A&M (1-5) opened the season with a 5-1 win over South Florida at Moore-Kittles Field, but have since dropped five straight, including a 5-3 loss to Eastern Illinois on Sunday.
The Rattlers will close out February and open the month of March with three games against Dayton, starting on Friday at Moore-Kittles Field. First pitch against the Flyers is scheduled for 4 p.m. On Saturday, FAMU will hold Fan Day as the players and coaches will sign schedule posters after the conclusion of the game.
