TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Former Florida A&M quarterback Ryan Stanley is one of the most prolific players to ever come out of the Rattler program. He leaves FAMU the career leader in completions, attempts, passing, and touchdowns.
Stanley is a finalist for the MEAC's Offensive Player of the Year, and he will find out if he receives that honor tomorrow morning. Trophy or not though, Ryan will graduate this week from Florida A&M, and he said he couldn't have asked for more from the University.
"It means a little more now that I'm getting to look back on it, all the passing records career wise are broken," he said. "It's a blessing, all my hard work, I got to enjoy the fruit of my labor and leave my mark on this program. It's just a blessing I came through this great University and left my mark and made the most of it. I'm grateful to FAMU forever and I'm a Rattler forever."
Up next for Ryan? He has goals to play football at the next level, and he said he'll start training for Pro Day in the spring.
