TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - Florida A&M plays North Carolina Central Saturday, and for quarterback Ryan Stanley, it could be a record breaking day.

The redshirt senior has 7,046 career passing yards. That's just 332 yards away from tying the record of 7,378 held by Quinn Gray, the current head coach at Lincoln High School. Records of course, are meant to be broken, and Rattler head coach Willie Simmons said for a kid like Ryan, it's good to see the success.

"Whenever someone comes in and breaks some of those records, especially when you know they're a good kid, a hard worker like Ryan is, it gives you that bittersweet feeling to know that even though your name will fall to number two on the all time list, that the guy that's breaking it worked hard, did it the right way, and represented this University in a first class manor."

Saturday's homecoming match-up against Central is set for 2:00.
