TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) — Florida A&M football held their fan day Saturday afternoon inside Jake Gaither Gymnasium. Hundreds of people showed up to get autographs from players and coaches.
Young and old were on hand for the event and for the players signing the FAMU posters, it meant a lot to them to see a huge community show their support for the team.
"It's good because we get to interact with our fans and know who's cheering for us and sponsoring us," said Keto Burke, a freshman wide receiver. "That's very nice, to get to meet them because they're very nice people."
Jalen Braybry, a junior offensive lineman, added, "It means a lot, which means we have a lot of supporters behind us. And they really want to see us succeed and they want to see fresh faces, new faces and old faces. They are really behind us and they are supporting the Rattler family."
