TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Florida A&M University football team continued their climb in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) polls on Monday.

After entering the STATS FCS Top 25 for the first time since 2009 last week, the Rattlers rose three spots to No. 17 following a 24-12 victory over Morgan State in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) game on Saturday. Florida A&M also gained six spots in the FCS Coaches Poll, resting at No. 17.

FAMU remained steady as the nation’s top HBCU football team for the second week in row, holding the No. 1 spot in both the SBN Black College Football Poll, and the BOXTOROW Coaches Poll.

Florida A&M returns to action on Saturday as the Rattlers play host to Delaware State for Military and Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Kickoff from Bragg Memorial Stadium is set for 4 p.m. and the game can be streamed live on ESPN3.
