Featuring several of the sport’s major stars, past and present, including NCAA record-setting wide receiver Jerry Rice, national championship-winning head coaches Barry Switzer and Nick Saban, Heisman Trophy winner Andre Ware and many more. In exploring the sport from the first gamein 1869 to the present day, the film will take a deep dive into central topics of college football.

September 15th from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm: “The American Game”

THE CULTURE: College football has always been more than just a sport; it’s a cultural phenomenon. Embodying a singular blend of pride, loyalty, and tradition, to understand the game, you have to understand how much everything around the game matters too – from the team colors to the uniforms to the bands, the mascots, the nicknames and more.

GREATEST MASCOTS: In college football, mascots are an unlikely piece of serious business. The panel looks at the live animals, the cartoon creations, and everything in between, in a fun breakdown of one of the sport’s most fun traditions.
