OCILLA, Ga. (WTXL) - Playing on your opponent's field for a State Championship game isn't ideal, but that was reality Friday night for two South Georgia football teams.
Last week's State Championship games were postponed thanks to snowy weather in Atlanta, and both Clinch County and Colquitt County played on the road in their respective State title match-ups.
Clinch County traveled to Irwin County for the A-Public title, and came out on top 21-12 for their second title in three seasons.
Colquitt County lost a heart breaker to North Gwinnett after the Bulldogs hit a 38 yard field goal with no time left on the clock to win 19-17.
