TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Coming off a bye week, No. 1 Florida State began game-week preparations for No. 22 Clemson.
The Noles and Tigers will meet Saturday at 8:00 p.m. in a game to be televised on WTXL ABC 27.
"(I'm) anxious to kick the week off," Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher said Monday in his weekly press conference. "We had a really productive off week last week, I thought we did a great job with our fundamentals with some game prep. We got better in a lot of areas in my opinion.
"I'm looking forward to this week. Clemson (will give us) a ton of challenges. They're still very dynamic on offense - all the different formations and sets and the way they get the ball to people."
Fisher released some good news Monday, revealing defensive tackle Eddie Goldman would be a full participant in practice this week. Fisher expects the junior to play against the Tigers this Saturday, but the status of fellow DTs Justin Shanks and Nile Lawrence-Stample is still questionable.
