MARIANNA, Fl. (WTXL) - On Saturday, the journey to a National title begins for the Chipola baseball team. The Indians have been downright dominant over the last several years, winning three state straight titles, and they're looking to add a third straight National title to that resume.

Jeff Johnson is the skipper of this baseball team, and many people are recommending him to take over in Tallahassee. He said right now he said he's focused on winning another National title, and there's no pressure at all for a three peat.

"You have to think about the game at hand and that's where we are right now with it," he said before the team left on Tuesday. "We understand we're going to get a lot of questions out about that. I think San Jacinto's Coach (Wayne) Graham that was at San Jac that went to Rice, I think he's the last person that did it. I think there wouldd be something special to do it, but there's a lot of buisness in order before we get to that point. Navarro is the only thing on our mind right now."

Chipola opens the 2019 Junior College World Series against Navarro. First pitch is at 2:00ET.
