TALLAHASSEE, Fl. (WTXL) - The postseason is in full swing for high school softball teams in the state of Florida, and on Wednesday, teams in 5A-9A hit the field for Regional Quarterfinal action.
The Chiles Timberwolves hosted Atlantic Coast, falling short in a rally 8-6. Lincoln was on the road at Oaklead, where the Trojans saw their season end as well, 10-0.
The Wakulla War Eagles fell in a close contest to Gulf Breeze, 2-0, while Godby fell 15-0 to Wakulla in Class 5A.
In high school flag football, the FAMU DRS Baby Lady Rattlers punched their ticket to the playoffs with a 18-12 overtime win over Godby in Class 1A to claim the District title.
