TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Tuesday night, the Chiles Timberwolves hosted Lincoln on the volleyball court in a critical Class 7A District 2 match-up. Chiles entered the contest 1-2, Lincoln 1-1, and with Leon leading the standings at 2-1, a win important for both programs.
The Timberwolves took the first set 25-19 over Lincoln. Lincoln took an early lead in the second set, but Chiles pulled away to win. The Trojans won the third, but Chiles sealed it up in the fourth to improve to 2-2 in District competition.
Lincoln closes out District competition on Thursday night at Leon. The match starts at 7:00.
