THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - The spring signing period rolls on for student athletes across North Florida and South Georgia. Tuesday at Brookwood School in Thomasville, three student athletes got the pens out to make things official.
Rachel Cooper, the star on the tennis court, signed her letter of intent with the University of Mary Washington. Basketball standout Kyle Ostrom made things official with Huntingdon College, while CC Collins is headed to Emmanuel College for clay target shooting.
"It all starts with being a great student, and we have a bunch of great students," said head football coach Shane Boggs. "We're really proud of each of the three of them, to have the opportunity to pursue something they love, and really create an opportunity to pursue it in college, it's a big deal so I'm excited for them."
