PEMBROKE, N.C. (WTXL) - Valdosta State led 29-0, and finished off UNC-Pembroke 36-7, Saturday afternoon at Grace P. Johnson Field.
The Blazers have now won five games in a row, improving to 7-2 overall this season.
VSU quarterback Jake Medlock sat out the game, as he was "banged up", per the university, but could have played if necessary. Instead, sophomore Kaleb Nobles started, and threw for four touchdowns to go with 308 yards through the air.
Valdosta State will finish off the 2014 regular season next Saturday at Florida Tech. Kickoff is set for 4:00 p.m. in Melbourne, Fla.
