Valdosta, GA (WTXL)-- Eight seconds away from losing E.J. Hillard found Greg Dent for the game-winning 28 yard touchdown. Valdosta advances to play West Georgia with a thrilling 61-59 win. VSU put up 682 yards of total offense, a single-game  program record. The touchdown to Dent capped a six-play 69 yard drive that took only 43 seconds. The Blazers wouldn't have advanced without Cedric O'Neal. The running back finished the game with three touchdowns. O'neal now has 17 touchdowns this season--a new school record. The most memorable one came in the 4th quarter when O'Neal hurdled his way to a 41 yard touchdown to give VSU a 48-45 lead. The Blazers scored 34 points in the 4th quarter.

VSU is now in the second round against West Georgia next Saturday at noon. The Blazers lost to West Georgia 49-28 in October.
