VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - One more win for the Valdosta State football team, and the Division II National title is coming home.

On Wednesday, the Blazers left Valdosta. Their destination? McKinney, Texas. The goal? To not leave empty handed.

Fans, the Blazer Brigade, and faculty showed up to wish this football team well as they continue their undefeated season. Valdosta State is 13-0 on the year, and enters the match-up looking for it's fourth National title.

Being from a city where winning is pretty much everything, these guys are happy to live up to expectations.

"This is the city of Champions here. Titletown USA," smiled head coach Kerwin Bell. "When you have a chance to have a great football team, these people recognize great football. This is one of the greatest places as far as college football, high school football, in the country."

"I haven't really grasped the thought of winning it," said sophomore receiver Brian Saunds. "Being there is breath taking. Finally getting that ring would be huge."

Saturday's match-up with Ferris State is set for a 4:00/ET kickoff. The game can be watched live on ESPNU.
