LAKELAND, Fla. (WTXL) - Valdosta State men's golf is tied for 10th place after one day of competition at the Matlock Collegiate.
The Blazers played two rounds Monday, finishing with scores of 305 (+17) in their first round and 293 (+5) in their second. Their two-round total of 598 (+22) is 31 shots back of the leader, Lynn University with a 567 (-9).
Individually, three different VSU players shot 147 in their two rounds: Alex Jones, Austin McNeil, and Mitch Lomis.
The tournament will wrap up with one final round Tuesday morning.
