LAKELAND, Fla. (WTXL) - Every year since 2011, the FAMU DRS Baby Lady Rattlers basketball team has made the trip to Lakeland for the State Final Four. Four times, they've walked away State Champs, and currently, they're on a two game win streak.
FAMU DRS took on Carrollwood Day on Thursday night in the Class 3A State Championship game, and with the 46-37 win, the Baby Lady Rattlers capture their third straight title.
The win also marks the first time a Big Bend girls basketball team has won three straight State Championships.
