TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Tournament passes for the upcoming ACC Softball Championship on May 9-11 at JoAnne Graf Field in Tallahassee, Fla. are on sale and can be purchased on Seminoles.com or by calling 888-FSU-NOLE.
Fans looking to attend the exciting three-day event can log onto the official Florida State athletics website and click on the “tickets” link, or can call the Seminole tickets hotline. Tournament passes are on sale for $12 and includes one ticket for each day. Daily tickets can also be purchased and are $5 for adults and $3 for youth.
Current students of ACC schools will be admitted free of charge by showing their college I.D.
The Seminoles will be hosting the ACC Tournament for the 12th time in school history. With the tournament sites being on a rotation, Tallahassee, Fla. was last the host of the ACC championship in 2007 when it was won by Virginia Tech.
Florida State has already earned the No. 1 seed for the conference tournament and will face the No. 8 seed on Thursday, May 9 at 5 p.m. The contest will air on ESPN3 and will also be streamed through theACC.com.
Four games will be played on Thursday at 11 a.m. (regional sports network), 1:30 p.m. (regional sports network), 5 p.m. (ESPN3) and 7:30 p.m. (ESPN3). The two semifinal matchups occur on Friday, May 10 at 1 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Both games will air on the league’s regional sports networks, which include Fox Sports Florida, Fox Sports South, Fox Sports Carolinas, Comcast Mid-Atlantic and NESN.
The championship game on Sunday begins at 6 p.m. and will air live on ESPN2. The winner of the championship contest receives an automatic bid to the NCAA Softball Championship that begins on May 16 and 17.
