TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday afternoon the league's future rotating crossover opponents, and with it a clearer picture of Florida State's schedules for the next few seasons comes into focus.
With Virginia tabbed to be FSU's Coastal-Division crossover opponent next year, the Seminoles will play a 2014 home schedule that features games inside Doak Campbell Stadium against the Cavaliers as well as Notre Dame, Boston College, Clemson, Wake Forest, The Citadel (Sept. 6, 2014) and Florida (Nov. 29, 2014).
During the 2014 season, Florida State will visit Louisville, NC State, Miami and Syracuse. FSU also has its highly anticipated trek to Texas to face Oklahoma State at Cowboys Stadium set for Aug. 30, 2014.
In 2015, Georgia Tech is FSU's crossover opponent so the 'Noles will get a chance to play in front of their many Atlanta-area fans at Bobby Dodd Stadium. The 2015 season also features road games against Boston College, Clemson, Wake Forest and Florida (Nov. 28, 2015).
FSU's home games in 2015 are against Louisville, NC State, Miami, Syracuse, Texas State (Sept. 5, 2015), USF (Sept. 26, 2015) and Tennessee-Chattanooga (Nov. 21, 2015).
Included in the ACC's release is a breakdown of each program's crossover opponent all the way through the 2024 season.
With programs such as Notre Dame, Miami, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Virginia Tech and several others all set to visit Tallahassee in the future, the 'Noles are assured to field some great home matchups for years to come.
