THOMASVILLE, Ga. (WTXL) - Bragging rights, you want them, and when it comes to high school football, for the last year the Big Bend has had them over Southwest Georgia. The War of the Border returns Friday night, and once again the right to talk smack is on the line.

It's Team Florida versus Team Georgia, and some of the area's best will battle Friday in Thomasville. It's an All-Star game for these guys, and for some, it'll be their last chance to play football. Each team has had this week to prepare. They have four days to learn a scheme and get ready for Friday night. It's a fun experience and one they can't wait to play in.

"It's a blast because you're practicing with the best, so you expect to get the best," said Team Florida's Devin Bailey, who's a running back from Rickards High School. "From every team, from every player on each team, you get different personalities, you get different things to where you can take in and do your thing with it."

"It's just all brotherhood. Football is football and we just want to play," added Colquitt County offensive lineman Thomas Berry. "As far as our opponent, that's just who we're going to play. Just play ball. I mean that's all we can do, is just play for fun, play relaxed and just have fun."
