CONWAY, SC (WMBF) - South Carolina teen Cecily Hennigan’s rendition of the “McDonald’s drive-thru song” made her a viral video star earlier this summer.

The video caught the attention of comedian and talk show host Steve Harvery, who featured Hennigan on his show “Steve” on Tuesday.

The 16-year-old performed for Harvey’s audience. Afterwards, the host surprised her with tickets to see Celine Dion in Las Vegas, as well as a $25,000 check from McDonald’s to go toward her education.

Hennigan’s fame is the result of a video she posted to her Facebook on Aug. 8, where she belts out her order at a McDonald’s drive-thru while her friend provides a beat.

Her inspiration was a famous YouTuber/singer named Todrick Hall, who actually wrote the song. Hennigan learned all the words and then sang it at an area McDonald’s.

Since it was first posted, the video has been viewed over 810,000 times and been shared more than 13,000 times.
