HILLIARD, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are offering an $11,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in a string of arsons at a north Florida apartment complex.
The reward announced Tuesday is being offered by the Nassau County Sheriff's Office, the state Fire Marshal's Office, First Coast Crime Stoppers and the Eastwood Oaks Apartment complex.
That's where officials say 10 vehicles have been burned since February. Recently, the damage has spread to stairwells and garages. The fires have all been set between 2 and 5 a.m.
Sheriff Bill Leeper told Florida Today (http://bit.ly/18UuN7x ) there is no clear motive.
Officials say residents are nervous. The sheriff encourages them to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity.
