TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Our very own Stephen Jiwanmall was interviewed by Capital City Pedicabs.
"Resiliently searching to inform citizens." That's how Jiwanmall describes being a reporter for the North Florida and South Georgia region.
He moved to Tallahassee back in April 2015 after being offered a job at WTXL ABC 27.
"I've always loved writing and telling stories," Jiwanmall told Capital City Pedicabs."Seemed like a natural fit as I went through high school and college."
He says that his experience with the community has been positive and says that it's a blessing to have started his ascent to television here in the Capital City.
And the fruits of his labor certainly show, as Jiwanmall recently won a state award.
"I spent an entire night outside doing a special report on youth homelessness," he explained. "It ended up getting me a state award for reporting, so it paid off!"
