(WTXL) — We know the coronavirus is changing our community.
Many people are frustrated and feel helpless at a time of extreme vulnerability.
In some cases, these changes may be permanent.
So, to keep you and your family informed as we move forward, we're beginning a new series of reports called "The Rebound." They are stories that will help all of us navigate through these uncertain times.
We're committed to telling stories that help you traverse the road ahead from when it's time to go back to work to how those in the community continue to step up.
As we move forward, you'll see us shinning a light on why help that's been promised, may not be arriving quite as it should and telling uplifting stories about those that are determined to keep the economy running.
Our hope is to relieve some of the pressure we've all felt lately by showing you the best ways to respond as the country focuses on ways to revive.
The Rebound will focus on four points:
- Making ends meet: Providing resources for help on topics ranging from rent to food to new belt-tightening techniques.
- Getting back to work: Highlighting the latest job openings, how to file for benefits and succeed in the job market.
- Managing the pressure: Putting a spotlight on ways to connect with people virtually, get counseling or manage your stress.
- Doing what's right: Tracking the way people are spending your tax dollars and treating your community.
Give us feedback and let us know what topics are most important to you. Together, we can help each other get through this.
