Boil water notice issued for Riversink Water customers in Wakulla County

WAKULLA COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) — A precautionary boil water notice has been issued for Riversink Water customers in Wakulla County.

Officials say a waterline was damaged during road construction but repairs have been made.

As a precaution, officials advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.

Residents should bring water to a rolling boil of one minute is sufficient. as an alternative bottled water may be used.

This precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the work is complete and a bacteriological survey shows that the water is safe to drink.

Rescission of precautionary boil water notice will be issued when water results return and show water is safe to drink.
