WARWICK, Ga. (WTXL)--Hundreds of people begin their week long journey, paddling down the Flint River for an educational vacation.
It's called Paddle Georgia 2013. The message is protecting rivers. It's also a fundraiser for the Georgia River Network and Flint Riverkeeper.
About 350 people are taking part. The trip is a total of 106 miles which started Saturday at Lake Blackshear and will end in Bainbridge Friday at the Earle May Boat Basin.
