MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) — With the economic uncertainties from the coronavirus, we here at ABC 27 are shining a light on businesses that are doing their part to help out the community while keeping their business open.

Southern Craft Creamery is saying we're open, and giving back.

"During these uncertain times, and even before this started, we always felt the need and urge to give back to the community in whatever way we could," said Meghan Austin, the co-owner of Cindale Farms.

Ausitn's parents started Cindale Farms in 1994.

Twice a day, the cows are milked and however much milk Southern Craft Creamery needs, it gets.

Dale Eade is the co-founder of Cindale Farms and Southern Craft Creamery. The creamery is a dream goal he and his wife had for years.

"One of the most rewarding parts of working with family is being able to watch your children do something you love to do," said Eade. "Watch them develop and support that passion that has driven us for so long."

Both businesses are family-owned.

"Our community has wrapped its arms around us, and in return we try to wrap ours around them, anything we can do to help," said Eade.

Southern Craft Creamery and Cindale Farms gives back to their community ny sending fresh milk to local food banks.

"We're asking for our customers and supporters to go online to our website, and we have an option for them to purchase a bottle, or two or three or four," Eade said. "And all of those proceeds will go towards us providing a bottle of milk to our local food pantries."

Just this week they delivered 58 cartons of fresh milk to local food pantries. All of that was donated by locals.

The creamery is currently only open for deliveries and curbside service.
