TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — With the economic uncertainties from the coronavirus, we here at ABC 27 are shining a light on businesses that are doing their part to help out the community while keeping their business open.
Ology Brewing is using science to provide you with two things that have grown even more in popularity during a pandemic.
For three years Ology Brewing has prided itself on creating high-quality experimental ales with a scientific twist.
In addition to distributing beer locally and to eight different states, Ology Brewing created Ology Distillery, where they also create their own in-house sanitizer that's FDA approved and partnered with the state.
"Ology Distilling was another Ology that we started in February," said Nick Walker, a co-owner and the head brewer of Ology Brewing. "We announced that and not long after, COVID happened. So, we started producing hand sanitizer with our distilling license. We had a full tanker of G&S come in, bring a neutral spirit that we watered down, denatured, and got it to where we could use it as hand sanitizer that's FDA approved. So, we were really able to provide the community and the state with hand sanitizer which was a huge need at first."
You can order your favorite ale, potato vodka, or bottles of sanitizer for their curbside pickup online or by phone.
