TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — With the economic uncertainties from the coronavirus, we here at ABC 27 are shining a light on businesses that are doing their part to help out the community while keeping their business open.

If you want the look of a tan without risking the sun's harmful rays, a custom airbrush tanning business says, "We're open, Tallahassee" with added safety precautions.

Myst Me has been around for 10 years and in its current location for three.

Owner Kim Barnard says, since re-opening, they're asking clients to wear a face mask and they providing "sticky feet" so clients are not barefoot while spray tanning.

Myst Me is also operating by appointment only and they're spaced further apart to allow for more time to clean between clients.

"Pretty much here at the salon we each have our own entrances, so the hairdressers use their own door and it's only them in their room," said Barnard. "And as far my room goes, you enter through my room, you exit through my room, so you don't ever have to come out to the common area or anything like that."

Myst Me is also going to start offering student and teacher discounts ahead of the fall semester.

"I also am adding products back in, for clients who don't' want any interaction," Barnard said. "Carrying solution for people to do themselves and deliver it to customers' homes too."

Myst Me tanning is located at 249 East Sixth Avenue in Tallahassee's midtown.
