TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — With the economic uncertainties from the coronavirus, we here at ABC 27 are shining a light on businesses that are doing their part to help out the community while keeping their business open.
Deep Brewing has been open in Tallahassee for almost four years, rotating through about 300 different beers throughout the course of a year.
Owner Ryan LaPete says they've adapted their business around the coronavirus and are ready to return to "package store" operations for now.
They've decided to continue their annual InDEEPendence Celebration but this weekend their "Red, Wit and Blue Tap Takeover" is going curbside.
They're encouraging people to come by and purchase some new offerings.
"We're going to have to be part of everybody's backyard festivities this year, so we are switching to growler sales only, with a little bit of cans of our core beers, and just hope everybody takes us along for their ride," said LaPete.
They've also teamed up with Tally Mac Shack and Register Sausage, to provide grab and grill deals featuring package food and drink deals to-go.
"So it's kind of this whole nice way to bring a lot of local businesses together so we can kind of keep some money flowing through our community and keep it here," LaPete said.
For the holiday weekend, they're open from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Deep Brewing is located on Cathay Court in Tallahassee.
