TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Carver Discount Cleaner been in Tallahassee for over 12 years, and says, "We're open, Tallahassee!"
Don Papania has owned the dry cleaning business for the past 4 years, but he says, recently, business is way down, and he doesn't want to lay off employees.
Papania is offering a discount to hospitals during the coronavirus pandemic.
"I will launder or dry clean your hospital gowns, scrubs, or anything you need - and for a discount," he said
"If they're overwhelmed with the PPE, personal protective equipment, the gowns, the scrubs, we can handle that for them," said Papania. "Anyone that has anything, it doesn't matter how big their order is, it helps out. Because again, we're trying not to let anybody go."
There are two Carver Discount Cleaner locations:
- Midtown, on North Monroe Street.
- Southwood Publix Shopping Plaza, on south Blairstone Road.
