TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — With the economic uncertainties from the coronavirus, we here at ABC 27 are shining a light on businesses that are doing their part to help out the community while keeping their business open.
A local business is integrating its service through technology and your favorite social apps.
At Bumblebee Waxing and More, guests aren't just customers, they're family.
Owner and founder, Amber Swartz, takes pride in the unique service at her skincare clinic that connects clients and employees as a hive of community.
With an ongoing pandemic, she had to create new ways to continue service while keeping safety in mind. So, she introduced Bumblebee's virtual consultant, where customers can talk and gain more information on personalized skincare needs.
"It's just nice to have that connection for people who aren't able to come in, and maybe they're high risk, or they're just not comfortable yet," said Swartz. "To check-in, regimen plan, to maybe move through an at-home facial treatment. We've had fun through the virtual skin consults. "
Guests are immediately greeted with sanitizer for them and their cellphones.
"We've all been re-certified in Rejuvenate Salon and Spa disinfectants on top of our normal licensing and certifications," Swartz said. "We have our own in-depth protocol for all cleaning and disinfecting the room after every single client. Our guests have a visiting protocol as well."
Guests must also complete a visit questionnaire upon service.
