TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Feline Advocates of Leon County opens a new used bookstore to act as senior cat sanctuary.

Fat Cat Books, 647 McDonnell Drive in Railroad Square Art District, is a used bookstore that houses adult and senior cats available for adoption.

It is a second branch of Fat Cat Café Tallahassee, 2901 East Park Avenue.

Customers can browse the more than 2,500 used books, while mingling with rescue cats, in need of a forever home.

Masks, social distancing, and hand sanitizing is practiced here.

Organizers are still finalizing the hours of operations.
