Noles, Gators clash Friday night in Tallahassee on the soccer pitch

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Second-ranked Florida State (4-0-0) returns to Tallahassee for a three-game home stand that begins Friday, September 5 at 7 pm against intra-state rival and eighth-ranked Florida (3-1-0) in the Share A Little Sunshine Showdown.

Both schools are coming off a weekend road trip to the Midwest which saw the Seminoles post a pair of victories over Oklahoma State (2-1, 2ot) and Oklahoma (1-0), while the Gators went 1-1 falling to the Sooners (1-2) but beating the Cowgirls (4-0).

Florida State is off to a 4-0-0 start for the third year in a row as the Seminoles have outscored their opponents 8-2 this time around.

The Seminoles enter Friday night’s game having won four of their last five matches against the Gators and 10 of the last 16 in the series including three in a row - FSU’s longest win streak against UF.
