TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -Over one hundred people came out Saturday to participate in Tallahassee's Yoga for a Cause event.
The event was already scheduled to help raise money for Hurricane Michael relief, but sadly had a different meaning after Friday's tragic shooting.
Hugs, tears and smiles filled Adams Street as people in the community relaxed and enjoyed an hour long yoga Session.
Yoga for a Cause organizer said she was glad to see community members and even some people who go to Hot Yoga Tallahassee at the event.
"I think the message is consistent that you know their dedication and bravery to other people is just overwhelming,"said McKenzie Lohbeck. They are showing up today because they want to show their love and support and that to me was just gosh overwhelming, because I can't imagine the things they have gone through and they continue think about other people."
Lohbeck also said this was the biggest Yoga for a Cause event she has ever held.
