TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A 70-year-old Tallahassee man was arrested and charged with ten counts of possessing child pornography on Thursday.
On Oct. 9, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement started an online investigation, looking for people who were distributing child pornography in Florida.
During their investigation, they found an IP address that was sharing child pornography. They were able to pinpoint that the address was connected to Thomas Benton.
Thursday, FDLE got a warrant to search Benton's apartment on Live Oak Drive in Tallahassee. During the search they found a computer with several files with child pornography in them.
Benton was charged with ten counts of child pornography possession and was transported to the Leon County Jail.
