84-Year-Old Man Among Those Injured After Tallahassee Car Crash

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -  Police said a 84-year-old man suffering from life-threatening injuries was among those who were taken to the hospital after a crash on Thomasville Road.

Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Tallahassee Police Department was called to a traffic crash at the intersection of Thomasville Road and Woodgate Way. When they arrived, the found two people in need of medical help.

Donald Bruneman and the driver of the car he was in, Paula Alexander, were both taken to a local hospital. Police said that Bruneman was suffering from life-threatening injuries while Alexander sustained minor injuries. 

Police said an initial investigation showed that Alexander attempted to turn left onto Woodgate way from Thomasville Road when it was hit by a car traveling north. 

TPD's Traffic Homicide Investigators were called in and have taken over the investigation. Investigators are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash, contact TPD at (850) 891-4200.
